(a) When registered with the Administration, every multipurpose passenger vehicle is a Class M (multipurpose) vehicle.
(a) When registered with the Administration, every multipurpose passenger vehicle is a Class M (multipurpose) vehicle.
(b) For each Class M (multipurpose) vehicle, the annual registration fee is: (1) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of 3,700 pounds or less - $50.50; and (2) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of more than 3,700 pounds - $76.50.
(b) For each Class M (multipurpose) vehicle, the annual registration fee is: (1) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of 3,500 pounds or less: (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $70.50; and (ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $80.50; (2) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of more than 3,500 pounds but not more than 3,700 pounds: (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $80.50; and (ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $85.50; and (3) For a vehicle with a manufacturer’s shipping weight of more than 3,700 pounds: (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, $121.50; and (ii) On or after July 1, 2025, $151.50.
(c) The Administration may by rule and regulation provide for the registration under this section of all multipurpose passenger vehicles registered under another category.
