The commissioner of public safety shall ensure that local authorities having jurisdiction over school buses shall cooperate with law enforcement and judicial authorities in reporting and prosecuting violators of sections 169.443 and 169.444 .

Subd. 2. Information; rules.
Subd. 2.
The commissioner shall compile information regarding violations, prosecutions, convictions or other disposition, and penalties imposed under sections 169.443 and 169.444 . At the request of the commissioner, local school authorities shall provide this information. The commissioner may adopt rules governing the content and providing procedures for the school authorities to provide this information.
