Miss. Code Ann. § 75-71-301

Securities registration requirement

Known as the Mississippi Securities Act

The act spans §§ 75–75 (61 sections).

Laws, 2009, ch. 528, § 1, eff from and after Jan. 1, 2010.

It is unlawful for a person to offer or sell a security in this state unless:

(1) The security is a federal covered security;

(2) The security, transaction, or offer is exempted from registration under Sections 75-71-201 through 75-71-203; or

(3) The security is registered under this chapter.
