Powers and duties of the Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee shall have all of the following powers and duties:

(1) To gather and provide information and data and advise the Board with respect to all aspects of the biology and ecology of endangered and threatened plant species.

Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2007-456, s. 3, effective December 1, 2007, and applicable to offenses committed on or after that date, inserted "all of" in the introductory language, made minor punctuation changes in subdivisions (1) through (5); and, in subdivision (6), deleted "botanical aspects of" preceding "environmental impact," substituted "State" for "North Carolina," and substituted "on projects that may affect protected plants" for "or other agencies as appropriate."
