The Adjutant General may, from time to time, create other awards and medals to recognize meritorious service or outstanding achievement. The creation of the awards and medals shall be approved by the Governor. The Governor or the Governor's designee shall approve the design of the awards and medals.

Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2011-195, s. 1(a), effective June 23, 2011, in the first sentence, deleted "such" following "create," in the last two sentences, substituted "the awards" for "such awards," and in the last sentence, substituted "the Governor's designee" for "his designee."
