(1) This Part shall be known as the "Ambulatory Surgical Facility Licensure Act."

(2) The purpose of this Part is to provide for the development, establishment and enforcement of basic standards: For the care and treatment of individuals in ambulatory surgical facilities; and
(2) The purpose of this Part is to provide for the development, establishment and enforcement of basic standards: For the care and treatment of individuals in ambulatory surgical facilities; and
(3) For the maintenance and operation of ambulatory surgical facilities so as to ensure safe and adequate treatment of such individuals in ambulatory surgical facilities.
