N.C. Gen. Stat. § 146-83

Vested rights protected

1959, c. 683, s. 1.

No provision of this Chapter shall be applied or construed to the detriment of vested rights, interests, or estates of any private individual, firm, or corporation, acquired prior to June 2, 1959.
