Unless otherwise provided by law, it shall be no bar to intestate succession by any person, that the person, or any other person through whom the person traces the person's inheritance, is or has been an alien.

Effect of Amendments. - Session Laws 2011-344, s. 5, effective January 1, 2012, and applicable to estates of decedents dying on or after that date, substituted "that the person, or any other person through whom the person traces the person's inheritance" for "that he, or any person through whom he traces his inheritance."
