Qualifications for controlling person

As of June 1, 2021
(1) To be qualified to serve as a controlling person of a licensee under this Article, the controlling person shall be at least 18 years of age, be of good moral character, and have educational, managerial, or business experience relevant to: Operation of a professional employer organization; or

(2) Service as a controlling person of a professional employer organization.

(3) This section does not apply to persons who are licensed pursuant to the alternative licensing procedures set forth in G.S. 58-89A-76 or to entities that are controlling persons.
