N.C. Gen. Stat. § 66-413

Penalties

Known as the Pawnbrokers and Currency Converters Modernization Act

Any dealer who violates the provisions of this Part shall be deemed guilty of a Class 2 misdemeanor. In addition any dealer so convicted shall be ineligible for a dealer's permit for a period of three years from the date of conviction. Each and every violation shall constitute a separate and distinct offense.
