(1) Complete Exemptions. - This Article shall not apply to any of the following: An insurance policy offered by an insurer under Chapter 58 of the General Statutes, except as provided in G.S. 66-443.

(3) Partial Exemption for Commercial Transactions. - G.S. 66-444, 66-446(c), and 66-447 are not applicable to a guaranteed asset protection waiver offered in connection with a lease or retail installment sale associated with a commercial transaction.
