§ 519. Hemp economic development. To the extent the commissioner\nbelieves it to be necessary, the commissioner shall consult and\ncooperate with the New York state urban development corporation with\nrespect to the funding and support of research concerning hemp and\nbusinesses involved in growing, cultivating, and processing hemp for\nfood, fiber, cannabinoid content, construction materials and other uses.\n
§ 519. Hemp economic development. The commissioner shall consult and\ncooperate with the New York state urban development corporation, the New\nYork state hemp workgroup created pursuant to section one hundred eight\nof the cannabis law, and representatives of industries that currently\nuse, or may potentially use, industrial hemp in their products, with\nrespect to the funding and support of research, and product and business\ndevelopment and promotion, concerning hemp and businesses involved in\ngrowing, cultivating, and processing hemp for uses including, but not\nlimited to food, fiber, packaging, cannabinoid content, and construction\nmaterials.\n
