* § 854. Madison county-tribal detention agreement. Notwithstanding\nany other inconsistent provision of law, the agreement executed between\nthe county of Madison and the Oneida Indian Nation executed on May\ntwenty-eighth, two thousand twenty-four, including, without limitation,\nthe provisions contained therein relating to confinement at the Madison\ncounty correctional facility of incarcerated adults remanded by the\nOneida Indian Nation court, shall, upon its effective date, be deemed\napproved, ratified, validated and confirmed by the legislature. It is\nthe intention of the legislature in enacting this section to ensure that\nthe agreement be fully enforceable in all respects as to the rights,\nbenefits, responsibilities and privileges of all parties under the\nagreement.\n * NB Repealed May 28, 2033\n
