§ 8600. Introduction. This article defines the practice of clinical\nlaboratory technology and provides for the licensing of clinical\nlaboratory technologists and cytotechnologists and for the certification\nof clinical laboratory technicians and histological technicians. The\ngeneral provisions for all professions contained in article one hundred\nthirty of this title shall apply to this article.\n
