§ 12-108. Electoral college; certificate of vote, how distributed. The\npresident of the electoral college shall distribute certificates so made\nwith the lists attached thereto in the following manner:\n 1. Forthwith, and before the fourth Wednesday in the said month of\nDecember, forward one certificate to the president of the United States\nsenate at the seat of the federal government by registered mail.\n 2. Forthwith, and before the fourth Wednesday in the said month of\nDecember deliver two certificates to the state board of elections, one\nof which shall be held by it subject to the order of the president of\nthe United States senate and the other shall be preserved for one year\nand shall be a part of the public records of the board and be open to\npublic inspection.\n 3. On the following day forward two certificates to the administrator\nof general services at the seat of the federal government by registered\nmail.\n 4. Forthwith, and before the fourth Wednesday in the said month of\nDecember, deliver the other certificates to the chief judge of the\nUnited States District Court of the northern district of the state of\nNew York.\n
§ 12-108. Electoral college; certificate of vote, how distributed. The\npresident of the electoral college shall immediately transmit the\ncertificates of vote so made pursuant to section 12-106 of this title\nwith the lists attached thereto. Such transmission of each such\ncertificate shall occur at the same time, in the most expeditious method\navailable, in the following manner:\n 1. one certificate to the president of the United States senate at the\nseat of the federal government.\n 2. two certificates to the state board of elections, one of which\nshall be held by it subject to the order of the president of the United\nStates senate or the archivist of the United States, as appropriate,\npursuant to the laws of the United States and the other shall be\npreserved for one year and shall be a part of the public records of the\nboard and be open to public inspection.\n 3. two certificates to the archivist of the United States at the seat\nof the federal government.\n 4. the other certificates to the chief judge of the United States\nDistrict Court of the northern district of the state of New York.\n
