§ 4-114. Determination of candidates and questions; county board of\nelections. The county board of elections, not later than the\nthirty-fifth day before the day of a primary or general election, or the\nfifty-third day before a special election, shall determine the\ncandidates duly nominated for public office and the questions that shall\nappear on the ballot within the jurisdiction of that board of elections.\n
