§ 75-0117. Investment of funds.\n State agencies, authorities and entities, in consultation with the\nenvironmental justice working group and the climate action council,\nshall, to the extent practicable, invest or direct available and\nrelevant programmatic resources in a manner designed to achieve a goal\nfor disadvantaged communities to receive forty-five percent of overall\nbenefits of spending on clean energy and energy efficiency programs,\nprojects or investments in the areas of housing, workforce development,\npollution reduction, low income energy assistance, energy,\ntransportation and economic development, provided however, that\ndisadvantaged communities shall receive no less than forty percent of\nthe overall benefits of spending on clean energy and energy efficiency\nprograms, projects or investments and provided further that this section\nshall not alter funds already contracted or committed as of the\neffective date of this section.\n
