N.Y. Exec. Law § 607

§ 607. Penalties for violation of this article. Any person or business\nentity found guilty, after a hearing, of a violation of this article,\nexcept for the provisions of section six hundred nine of this article,\nmay be required to pay a civil penalty of not more than one thousand\ndollars for each such violation, but not more than five thousand dollars\nfor more than one violation relating to each home. Such fine shall be\ncollected and deposited in the state's general fund. In addition to the\npenalties set forth in this section, the secretary shall also have the\npower to suspend or revoke licenses pursuant to section six hundred four\nof this article.\n
