* § 911. Discrimination based on age prohibited. 1. It shall be\nunlawful for any corporation, partnership, firm, institution, sole\nproprietorship or other entity or person engaged in the business of\npeer-to-peer car sharing to refuse to make a shared vehicle available to\nany person twenty-one years of age or older solely on the basis of age,\nprovided that insurance coverage for persons of such age is available.\nAny actual cost for insurance related to the age of the shared driver\nmay be passed on to such person.\n 2. A knowing violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine\nnot to exceed five hundred dollars.\n * NB Effective March 22, 2022\n
§ 911. Discrimination on the basis of credit card ownership\nprohibited. 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, partnership,\ninstitution, sole proprietorship, corporation or other entity engaged in\nthe business of peer-to-peer car sharing to refuse to make a shared\nvehicle available to any person solely on the requirement of ownership\nof a credit card.\n 2. For the purposes of this section, "credit card" shall mean any\ncredit card, credit plate, charge plate or other identification card or\ndevice which is issued by a person to another person as the holder\nthereof, and may be used by such holder to obtain a cash advance, loan,\nor credit, or to purchase or rent property or services on the credit of\nthe person issuing the credit card or the holder.\n 3. A knowing violation of this section shall be punishable by a fine\nnot to exceed one thousand dollars.\n
