N.Y. Gen. Bus. Law § 918

* § 918. Electronic notice authorized. 1. Notwithstanding any other\nprovision of this article, any notice or disclosure of general\napplicability required to be provided, delivered, posted, or otherwise\nmade available by a peer-to-peer car sharing program pursuant to any\nprovision of this article shall also be deemed timely and effectively\nmade where such notice or disclosure is provided or delivered\nelectronically to the shared vehicle owner and/or driver at or before\nthe time required, provided that such shared vehicle owner and/or driver\nhas given his or her express consent to receive such notice or\ndisclosure in such a manner.\n 2. Electronic or written acceptance shall hereby be deemed a valid\nform of acceptance of any such notice or disclosure, and acceptance\nshall remain effective until such time as acceptance is affirmatively\nwithdrawn by such shared vehicle driver. Notices and disclosures made\nelectronically pursuant to this subdivision shall be exempt from any\nplacement or stylistic display requirements, including but not limited\nto location, font size, typeset, or other specifically stated\ndescription; provided such disclosure is made in a clear and conspicuous\nmanner.\n * NB Effective March 22, 2022\n
