§ 897. Town of Erwin industrial development agency. For the benefit of\nthe town of Erwin and the inhabitants thereof, an industrial development\nagency, to be known as the Town of Erwin Industrial Development Agency,\nis hereby established for the accomplishment of any or all of the\npurposes specified in title one of article eighteen-A of this chapter.\nIt shall constitute a body corporate and politic, and be perpetual in\nduration. It shall have the powers and duties now or hereafter conferred\nby title one of article eighteen-A of this chapter upon industrial\ndevelopment agencies. It shall be organized in a manner prescribed by\nand be subject to the provisions of title one of article eighteen-A of\nthis chapter. Its members shall be appointed by the governing body of\nthe town of Erwin. The agency, its members, officers and employees, and\nits operations and actvities shall in all respects be governed by the\nprovisions of title one of article eighteen-A of this chapter.\n
