§ 5409. Examinations. The superintendent may, in accordance with\narticle three of this chapter, make an examination into the affairs of\nthe association whenever he deems it expedient. The expenses of every\nsuch examination shall be borne and paid by the association in the\nmanner prescribed by section three hundred thirteen of this chapter.\n

The\nexpenses of every such examination shall be borne and paid by the\nassociation in the manner prescribed by subsection (f) of section two\nhundred six of the financial services law.\n
