§ 499-i. Resignation not to divest commission and the appellate\ndivision of jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of the appellate division and\nthe commission pursuant to this article shall continue notwithstanding\nthat a prosecutor resigns from office after a recommendation by the\ncommission that the prosecutor be removed from office has been\ntransmitted to the governor, or in any case in which the commission's\nrecommendation that a prosecutor should be removed from office shall be\ntransmitted to the governor within one hundred twenty days after receipt\nby the chief administrator of the courts of the resignation of such\nprosecutor. Any determination by the governor that a prosecutor who has\nresigned should be removed from office shall render such prosecutor\nineligible to hold any other prosecutorial office.\n
