N.Y. Lab. Law § 10-c

§ 10-c. Workforce guidance and information for women policy. The\ndepartment shall provide guidance to local workforce investment boards\nand staff, to enable them to better educate and inform both women and\nmen about higher paying jobs and careers including jobs traditionally\ndominated by men. Such guidance shall promote program services for job\nseekers that provide:\n (a) current information about compensation for jobs and careers that\noffer high earning potential including jobs that are traditionally\ndominated by men;\n (b) counseling, skills development and training that encourage both\nwomen and men to seek employment in such jobs;\n (c) referrals to employers offering such jobs; and\n (d) current local labor market information regarding the gender wage\ngap and specific self-sufficiency rates for families living and working\nin that local labor market.\n
