§ 145. Criminal penalties. Any person who knowingly violates any\nprovision of this article and any officer or agent of a corporation who\nknowingly permits the corporation to violate any such provisions shall\nbe guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction therefor shall be\npunished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or imprisonment\nfor not more than sixty days or by both such fine and imprisonment for a\nfirst offense, or by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars or\nimprisonment for not more than one year, or by both such fine and\nimprisonment for a second or subsequent offense.\n
