§ 2858. Public water and sewer authority powers. A public water or\nsewer authority, created pursuant to article five of this chapter, shall\nhave the power to specify the manner in which exterior manhole covers,\ncontaining grease traps or interceptors shall be regulated and inspected\nto prevent unauthorized access, in addition to the requirements set\nforth in the uniform fire prevention and building code pursuant to\narticle eighteen of the executive law.\n
