* § 388. Limitation on powers of the authority. A department,\nauthority, division or agency of the state shall not offer or permit any\nofficer or employee of such department, authority, division or agency to\nuse a pass to access and/or use the thruway system without the officer's\nor employee's personal payment of tolls except when the use of such a\npass and/or use of the thruway system without personal payment of tolls\noccurs in the normal course of the employment or duties of such officer\nor employee.
