N.Y. Pub. Health Law § 242*2

* § 242. Preparation and distribution of reports. The department shall\nsubmit a biennial report to the governor and the legislature describing\nthe activities of the office and health status of minority areas. The\nfirst such report shall be transmitted on or before September first,\nnineteen hundred ninety-four. Such report shall contain the following\ninformation:\n 1. Activities of the office of health equity, expenditures incurred in\ncarrying out such activities, and anticipated activities to be\nundertaken in the future.\n 2. Progress in carrying out the functions and duties listed in section\ntwo hundred forty-one of this title.\n 3. An analysis of the health status of underserved populations,\nincluding those populations within racially and ethnically diverse\nareas, and the status of health delivery systems serving those\ncommunities. Such analysis shall be conducted in cooperation with the\nhealth equity council and other interested agencies.\n 4. Any recommended improvements to programs and/or regulations that\nwould enhance the cost effectiveness of the office, and programs\nintended to meet the health and health care needs of underserved\npopulations.\n * NB There are 2 § 242's\n
