§ 244. Revocation of license or franchise. The state racing and\nwagering board may revoke a license issued by it under this chapter or a\nfranchise granted pursuant to section two hundred six of this article if\nthe corporation to which such license or franchise shall have been\nissued, or its officers or directors, shall not conduct racing at its\ntrack, including pari-mutuel betting on races thereat, in accordance\nwith the terms and conditions of such license or franchise, with the\nrules of such board and with the provisions of this chapter; or if such\ncorporation or its officers or directors shall knowingly permit on its\ngrounds or within the enclosure of its racetrack, lotteries, pool\nselling or bookmaking, or any other kind of gambling, in violation of\nthis chapter or of the penal law.\n
