§ 232-b. Notification to terminate monthly tenancy or tenancy from\nmonth to month outside the city of New York. A monthly tenancy or\ntenancy from month to month of any lands or buildings located outside of\nthe city of New York may be terminated by the landlord or the tenant\nupon his notifying the other at least one month before the expiration of\nthe term of his election to terminate; provided, however, that no\nnotification shall be necessary to terminate a tenancy for a definite\nterm.\n
§ 232-b. Notification to terminate monthly tenancy or tenancy from\nmonth to month outside the city of New York. A monthly tenancy or\ntenancy from month to month of any lands or buildings located outside of\nthe city of New York may be terminated by the tenant or for a tenancy\nother than a residential tenancy the landlord, upon the tenant's or\nnon-residential landlord's notifying the landlord or non-residential\ntenant at least one month before the expiration of the term of the\ntenant's election to terminate; provided, however, that no notification\nshall be necessary to terminate a tenancy for a definite term.\n
