§ 372. Optional retirement at age fifty-five; closed plan. a. Any\nmember of the policemen's and firemen's retirement system who, while a\nmember of the state employees' retirement system, elected to contribute\non a basis of retirement at age fifty-five pursuant to the provisions of\nsection seventy-two of this chapter and who did not withdraw his\nelection as therein provided shall contribute to the policemen's and\nfiremen's retirement system at the rate prescribed by such section, and\nif such member retires his retirement allowance shall be computed\naccording to the provisions of such section.\n
§ 372. Optional retirement at age fifty-five; closed plan. a. Any\nmember of the police and fire retirement system who, while a member of\nthe state employees' retirement system, elected to contribute on a basis\nof retirement at age fifty-five pursuant to the provisions of section\nseventy-two of this chapter and who did not withdraw his or her election\nas therein provided shall contribute to the police and fire retirement\nsystem at the rate prescribed by such section, and if such member\nretires his or her retirement allowance shall be computed according to\nthe provisions of such section.\n
