* § 97-tttt. Restore mother nature bond fund. 1. There is hereby\nestablished in the joint custody of the state comptroller and the\ncommissioner of taxation and finance a special fund to be known as the\n"restore mother nature bond fund".\n 2. The state comptroller shall deposit into the restore mother nature\nbond fund all moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds and/or\nnotes for uses eligible pursuant to section four of the environmental\nbond act of 2020 "restore mother nature".\n 3. Moneys in the restore mother nature bond fund, following\nappropriation by the legislature and allocation by the director of the\nbudget, shall be available only for reimbursement of expenditures made\nfrom appropriations from the capital projects fund for the purpose of\nthe restore mother nature bond fund, as set forth in the environmental\nbond act of 2020 "restore mother nature".\n 4. No moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds and/or notes\nsold pursuant to the environmental bond act of 2020 "restore mother\nnature" shall be expended for any project until funds therefor have been\nallocated pursuant to the provisions of this section and copies of the\nappropriate certificates of approval filed with the chair of the senate\nfinance committee, the chair of the assembly ways and means committee\nand the state comptroller.\n * NB Effective upon a vote of the people in a general election held in\nNovember 2020 approving the environmental bond act of 2020 set forth in\nchapter 58 of 2020 Part QQ § 1\n

The state comptroller shall deposit into the clean water, clean\nair, and green jobs bond fund all moneys received by the state from the\nsale of bonds and/or notes for uses eligible pursuant to section four of\nthe clean water, clean air, and green jobs environmental bond act of\n2022.\n 3. Moneys in the clean water, clean air, and green jobs bond fund,\nfollowing appropriation by the legislature and allocation by the\ndirector of the budget, shall be available only for reimbursement of\nexpenditures made from appropriations from the capital projects fund for\nthe purpose of the clean water, clean air, and green jobs bond fund, as\nset forth in the clean water, clean air, and green jobs environmental\nbond act of 2022.\n 4. No moneys received by the state from the sale of bonds and/or notes\nsold pursuant to the clean water, clean air, and green jobs\nenvironmental bond act of 2022 shall be expended for any project until\nfunds therefor have been allocated pursuant to the provisions of this\nsection and copies of the appropriate certificates of approval filed\nwith the chair of the senate finance committee, the chair of the\nassembly ways and means committee and the state comptroller.\n
