Section 12-A-102. Definitions.\n (a) Article A Definitions. In this article:\n (1) "Adjustment date" means the date that is one year after the\neffective date.\n (2) "Article 12" means Article 12 of this code.\n (3) "Article 12 property" means a controllable account, controllable\nelectronic record, or controllable payment intangible.\n (4) "Effective date" means the date determined pursuant to section 88\nof the UCC Revision Act.\n (5) "Revised UCC" means the Uniform Commercial Code as amended by the\nUCC Revision Act.\n (6) "UCC Revision Act" means the chapter of the laws of two thousand\ntwenty-five that added this article and article 12 to the Uniform\nCommercial Code.\n (b) Definitions in other articles. The following definitions in other\narticles of this code apply to this article.\n"Controllable account". Section 9--102.\n"Controllable electronic record". Section 12--102.\n"Controllable payment intangible". Section 9--102.\n"Electronic money". Section 9--102.\n"Financing statement". Section 9--102.\n (c) Article 1 definitions and principles. Article 1 contains general\ndefinitions and principles of construction and interpretation applicable\nthroughout this article.\n
