Section 9--700. Definitions.\n The following words and terms when used in this part 7 shall have the\nfollowing meanings:\n "Former Article 9." The provisions of article 9 of the Uniform\nCommercial Code of this state as in effect before the effective date of\nRevised Article 9.\n "Revised Article 9." The provisions of article 9 of the Uniform\nCommercial Code of this state, as amended by the chapter of the laws of\n2001 which added these words and as they may be further amended.\n
