§ 8-802 Powers and duties of policemen. The policemen so appointed\nshall have all the powers and be subject to the duties and liabilities\nof constables of towns in serving process in any civil action or\nproceeding. In addition to other powers conferred by law, said policemen\nshall have power to execute any warrant or process issued by a court of\nthe county or counties in which such village is situated.\n
