§ 6. Volunteer firemen's benefits; general. If a volunteer fireman\ndies from the effects of injury in line of duty, or if such a fireman\nshall be injured in line of duty, benefits shall be paid and provided\npursuant to this chapter, except that there shall be no liability for\nsuch benefits when the injury has been solely occasioned by intoxication\nof the volunteer fireman while acting in line of duty or by the wilful\nintention of the volunteer fireman to bring about the injury or death of\nhimself or another.\n
