§ 9. Temporary total disability benefits. In the case of temporary\ntotal disability the volunteer firefighter shall be paid one hundred\ntwenty-five dollars for each week during the continuance thereof;\nprovided, however, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred seventy-eight to\nDecember thirty-first, nineteen hundred seventy-eight, said firefighter\nshall receive one hundred eighty dollars per week during the continuance\nthereof; and further provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is\ninjured in the line of duty on or after January first, nineteen hundred\nseventy-nine to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred eighty-three, said\nfirefighter shall receive two hundred fifteen dollars per week during\nthe continuance thereof; and further provided, that when the volunteer\nfirefighter is injured in the line of duty on or after July first,\nnineteen hundred eighty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred\neighty-four, said firefighter shall receive two hundred fifty-five\ndollars per week during the continuance thereof; and further provided,\nthat when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the line of duty on or\nafter July first, nineteen hundred eighty-four to June thirtieth,\nnineteen hundred eighty-five, said firefighter shall receive two hundred\nseventy-five dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred eighty-five to\nJune thirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety to June\nthirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety-one, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred forty dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when a volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety-one to June\nthirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety-two, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred fifty dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when a volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety-two, said\nfirefighter shall receive four hundred dollars per week during the\ncontinuance thereof. Temporary total disability, within the meaning of\nthis section, shall exist only if the earning capacity of the volunteer\nfirefighter has been lost temporarily and totally as the result of the\ninjury. In case of temporary total disability and permanent partial\ndisability both resulting from the same injury, if the temporary total\ndisability continues for a longer period than the number of weeks set\nforth in the following schedule, the period of temporary total\ndisability in excess of such number of weeks shall be added to the\nperiod provided in section ten of this article: arm, thirty-two weeks;\nleg, forty weeks; hand, thirty-two weeks; foot, thirty-two weeks; ear,\ntwenty-five weeks; eye, twenty weeks; thumb, twenty-four weeks; first\nfinger, eighteen weeks; great toe, twelve weeks; second finger, twelve\nweeks; third finger, eight weeks; fourth finger, eight weeks; toe other\nthan great toe, eight weeks. In any case resulting in loss or partial\nloss of use of arm, leg, hand, foot, ear, eye, thumb, finger or toe,\nwhere the temporary total disability does not extend beyond the periods\nabove mentioned for such injury, benefits shall be limited to the\nschedule contained in section ten of this article.\n
§ 9. Temporary total disability benefits. In the case of temporary\ntotal disability the volunteer firefighter shall be paid one hundred\ntwenty-five dollars for each week during the continuance thereof;\nprovided, however, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred seventy-eight to\nDecember thirty-first, nineteen hundred seventy-eight, said firefighter\nshall receive one hundred eighty dollars per week during the continuance\nthereof; and further provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is\ninjured in the line of duty on or after January first, nineteen hundred\nseventy-nine to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred eighty-three, said\nfirefighter shall receive two hundred fifteen dollars per week during\nthe continuance thereof; and further provided, that when the volunteer\nfirefighter is injured in the line of duty on or after July first,\nnineteen hundred eighty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred\neighty-four, said firefighter shall receive two hundred fifty-five\ndollars per week during the continuance thereof; and further provided,\nthat when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the line of duty on or\nafter July first, nineteen hundred eighty-four to June thirtieth,\nnineteen hundred eighty-five, said firefighter shall receive two hundred\nseventy-five dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred eighty-five to\nJune thirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when the volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety to June\nthirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety-one, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred forty dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when a volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety-one to June\nthirtieth, nineteen hundred ninety-two, said firefighter shall receive\nthree hundred fifty dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and\nfurther provided, that when a volunteer firefighter is injured in the\nline of duty on or after July first, nineteen hundred ninety-two to June\nthirtieth, two thousand twenty-one, said firefighter shall receive four\nhundred dollars per week during the continuance thereof; and further\nprovided, that when a volunteer firefighter is injured in the line of\nduty on or after July first, two thousand twenty-one, said firefighter\nshall receive six hundred fifty dollars per week during the continuance\nthereof. Temporary total disability, within the meaning of this section,\nshall exist only if the earning capacity of the volunteer firefighter\nhas been lost temporarily and totally as the result of the injury. In\ncase of temporary total disability and permanent partial disability both\nresulting from the same injury, if the temporary total disability\ncontinues for a longer period than the number of weeks set forth in the\nfollowing schedule, the period of temporary total disability in excess\nof such number of weeks shall be added to the period provided in section\nten of this article: arm, thirty-two weeks; leg, forty weeks; hand,\nthirty-two weeks; foot, thirty-two weeks; ear, twenty-five weeks; eye,\ntwenty weeks; thumb, twenty-four weeks; first finger, eighteen weeks;\ngreat toe, twelve weeks; second finger, twelve weeks; third finger,\neight weeks; fourth finger, eight weeks; toe other than great toe, eight\nweeks. In any case resulting in loss or partial loss of use of arm, leg,\nhand, foot, ear, eye, thumb, finger or toe, where the temporary total\ndisability does not extend beyond the periods above mentioned for such\ninjury, benefits shall be limited to the schedule contained in section\nten of this article.\n
