R.I. Gen. Laws § 28-27-4.1

“Journeyperson refrigeration technician” defined

“Journeyperson refrigeration technician” means any person who has completed an appropriate ten thousand (10,000) hour registered apprenticeship program in accordance with chapter 45 of this title, and has passed a refrigeration technician examination and who does work in refrigeration/air conditioning subject to provisions of this chapter and the rules, regulations, and licensing criteria promulgated hereunder.
