R.I. Gen. Laws § 28-48-8

Civil penalty for violations

P.L. 1987, ch. 366, § 1.

Any employer who or that violates any provision of this chapter or of any order issued pursuant to § 28-48-7 shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). In the case of a continuing violation, each day’s continuance shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
