S.D. Codified Laws § 58-33-34

Directorship in two or more insurers permitted

Known as the Unauthorized Insurers False Advertising Process Act

Any person otherwise qualified may be director of two or more insurers which are competitors, unless the effect thereof is to lessen substantially competition between insurers generally or tends materially to create a monopoly.
