Registration cards — Possession and exhibition — Notice of arrest and conviction

Known as the Private Protective Services Licensing and Regulatory Act

(1) The application or registration card shall be exhibited upon request of the commissioner, the commissioner's designee, a full-time law enforcement officer or an employer to verify that the security guard/officer is working pursuant to the requirements of this chapter.

(2) A security guard/officer shall provide written notice to the commissioner or the commissioner's designee and to the licensee or the proprietary security organization that employs the security guard/officer of any arrest and resulting conviction, except for minor traffic violations, within thirty (30) days of the arrest or conviction.
