SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION TO AGENCIES FOR COMMENT

Known as the Texas Uranium Exploration, Surface Mining, and Reclamation Act

(a) The commission immediately shall submit copies of the permit application to the Parks and Wildlife Department, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, General Land Office, Texas Historical Commission, State Soil and Water Conservation Board, Bureau of Economic Geology, Texas Department of Health, and other state agencies whose jurisdiction the commission feels the particular mining operation may affect.

(b) Each of these agencies shall review the permit application and submit any comments the agency cares to make within 30 days of receipt of the application.

(c) An agency's comments shall include an enumeration of permits or licenses required under the agency's jurisdiction.

(d) The comments of each agency shall be made a part of the record and a copy shall be furnished to the applicant.
