This subchapter does not require a license for any of the following:

(1) A person lawfully practicing within the scope of a license, permit, registration or certification granted by this state or the federal government.

(1m) An individual who is exempt from licensure as a physician under s. 448.03 (2m). MEDICAL PRACTICES 448.6519 (2) A person assisting a podiatrist in practice under the direct, on-premises supervision of the podiatrist.

(2m) An advanced practice registered nurse who is providing nonsurgical patient services as directed, supervised, and inspected by a podiatrist who has the power to direct, decide, and oversee the implementation of the patient services rendered.
