Continuing education

The examining board may impose continuing education requirements on licensees either:
(1) As a part of the disciplinary process to ensure competency; or
(2) By rule, if necessary to preserve the public health, safety or welfare.
The examining board may impose continuing education requirements on a person who holds a license under this subchapter that is not an inactive license as a part of the disciplinary process to ensure competency.
