The affiliated credentialing board may not grant a license under this chapter unless the applicant achieves a passing grade on the following examinations:

(1) A nationally administered, entry-level competency examination for therapeutic massage and bodywork therapy that s meets generally accepted psychometric principles and standards or a substantially equivalent examination approved by the affiliated credentialing board.
