citing decisions per year

Court decisions citing this, by year. The dip in the last several years is a data-coverage gap, not a real trend — our corpus holds fewer opinions from the most recent years, so recent citations are undercounted.

In this chapter, “municipality” includes any county, city, village, town, technical college district, special purpose district, or board or commission thereof, and any public or quasi-public corporation or board or commission created pursuant to statute, ordinance, or resolution, but does not include the state, a state agency, a corporation chartered by the state, or a school district as defined in s. 115.01 (3).
