(1) The purpose of this article is to create a legal framework within which service contracts may be sold in this state.

(5) Service contracts sold or offered for sale to persons other than consumers.

(6) The types of agreements referred to in subsection (b) of this section do not have to comply with any provision of the insurance law of this state.

(7) This article does not apply to: Mechanical breakdown insurers licensed pursuant to chapter 37 of this code;

(10) Theft protection programs or their accompanying warranties except that theft protection programs and their accompanying warranties shall be subject to the enforcement provisions of W.S. 26-49-110.
