Examinations

Known as the Wyoming Money Transmitters Act

The act spans §§ 40-22-101 to 40-22-129 (28 sections).

(a) The commissioner may conduct examinations of persons licensed under this act at intervals he deems necessary to determine whether violations of this act and other applicable laws, rules and regulations pertaining to money transmissions are occurring and the frequency and seriousness of the violations.

(b) Each licensee or person subject to examination or investigation under this act shall pay to the commissioner an amount assessed by the commissioner to cover the direct cost of examinations or investigations conducted pursuant to this section.
