Alabama Commercial Feed Law

This act regulates the manufacture, distribution, and sale of commercial animal feeds and pet foods. Enforcement rests with the state agriculture department, which promulgates implementing rules, inspects premises and records, samples and analyzes feed, and may withdraw feed from distribution, seize and dispose of violative products, or refuse or cancel a license — subject to hearings and judicial review.
