  • 505 ILCS 130/6A marketing program proposal or a proposed amendment to an existing marketing program may be requested by petition to the Director by 2500 producers of soybeans, with at least 10 signers of such petition from each of 50 counties
  • 505 ILCS 130/7If any marketing program or amendment to an existing marketing program is proposed under Section 6 of this Act, the Director shall appoint a temporary operating committee consisting of 7 members who are soybean producers to develop such proposed marketing program
  • 505 ILCS 130/8Within 90 days after final approval by the temporary operating committee of any proposed marketing program, the Director shall determine by referendum in accordance with this Section and Section 11 of this Act whether the affected producers assent to such proposed program
